'Stirring End of Purpose' are glass sculptures that fuse individual detailed parts to form solid tall figures that are inspired by finials.
No matter if one looks at finials on houses, on fence posts, on bed posts or on walking sticks, they mark the end of purpose, they pinpoint the transition from functional to non - functional, from tangible to intangible, from the restricted ground of pragmatic reason to the infinite sphere of imagination. The finials point upwards to a place of spirituality, inspiration and intuition.
